New paper indicates that soot from Chinese coal use is the cause of the Arctic melt

The two images above shows the R squared value, the goodness of fit,for China coal use  is almost twice that for global temperature.   The Ed Caryl paper (see www.notrickszone.com) shows clearly that the Arctic ice melt  is being accelerated by the presence of soot and dust from Asia mainly China.  Coal figures are from Wikipedia and use also of the NSIDC NH ice index. China is using three billion tons of coal each year and it is this coal use that is affecting the Arctic melt. Greenland is not thawing neither is Siberia.  The cold is on the land but the warmth is on the seas.  The seas are warm and not the atmosphere.  The soot accumulates on all of the ice enhancing the melt.
