UN Durban climate conference aftermath. International Climate Court of Justice to be established. Lord Monckton reveals all on American television.

            WHAT THE MEDIA ARE NOT TELLING YOU!      On 9 December on the Alex Jones  US television channel Lord Monckton revealed the intention of the UN to establish a International Climate Court. This is an attempt to build a world government on the foundations of eco fascism.  It will have the power to compel Western nations to pay ever larger sums to third world countries in the name of making reparations for supposed "climate debt".  The court will have no power over third world countries and will be irredeemably anti-western!   The whole sad story is revealed also  by Paul J Watson editor for PrisonPlanet.com part of the Alex Jones network.   The western mainstream media have conspired to keep this secret so do not expect to read about it in the UKmedia!
                        The draft treaty calls for the West to achieve a 50% CO2 reduction within the next eight years, a feat that would completely bankrupt the global economy and spark a new great depression, as well as a "more than 100 %" reduction by 2050, so no exhaling of carbon dioxide by humans, no motor cars, no coal fired or gas fired power stations, no aircraft, no trains writes Lord Monckton. The text of the draft treaty call for a two degree celsius drop in global temperatures which as Monckton points out "would kill hundreds of millions" and herald a new ice age!!  All plant life would die!   The wicked West of course will have to pay for this lunacy. A green climate fund will be established and administered by the UN starting next year.   The draft treaty wants the West to stump up $100 billion a year!  It says" the rights of some parties to survive are being threatened by the adverse impacts of climate change, including the sea level rise".  At 2 inches per century according to eight years data from the Envisat satellite?  What nonsense!  The new Jason 2 satellite shows that sea level has actually dropped over the past three years!     The whole tone of this document comes over as full of hatred towards the West.  Really an attack on capitalism as was admitted by Evo Morales President of Bolivia after the Cancun conference.

Mailonline 21 December: Government scientists DID collude with government officials to hide research that didn`t fit their apocalyptic global warming!

                 The Mailonline reports that more than 5000 documents have been leaked online purporting to be the correspondence of climate scientists at the University of East Anglia who were previously accused of "massaging" evidence of man made climate change..  The report goes on to say that the new e-mails appear to show systematic suppression of evidence, and even publication of reports that scientists knew to be based on flawed approaches..  It reveals that government employees of the Department of Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) are also implicated and it quotes an official from Defra as saying that colleagues working on climate science should give the government "a strong message"!.  The Mail report says that the e-mails paint a picture of scientists selectively using data, and colluding with politicians to misuse scientific information. It goes on to say that other scientists are clearly against such a policy, but some seemed happy to collude with concealing and destroying evidence.  One scientist is quoted as saying" I also think the science is being manipulated to put a political spin on it which for all our sakes might not be too clever in the long run"   The e-mails were posted on a Russian server  Sinwt.ru as a downloadable ZIP file.   (See also www.foia2011.org).  In a letter strongly critical of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change  former Chancellor Nigel Lawson`s Global Warming Policy Foundation(www.thegwpf.org)  said "the BBC in determining its policy towards the coverage of global warming  ought to revert to the impartiality laid down in its charter"

Canada withdraws from the Koyoto climate protocol and is supported by Russia

                     With the UN Climate conference in Durban ending without any legal binding treaty to replace the Koyoto climate protocol it was most encouraging to read that Canada has officially withdrawn from supporting the Koyoto protocol.  Canada has been supported by Russia and it is clear that the EU climate policies based on the now discredited antropogenic climate theory are becoming more and more isolated.    This very point has been raised by US Secretary of State Hiliary Clinton over the attempt by the EU to charge other world airlines including American airlines for their emissions when they fly over EU airspace. Her letter to the EU authorities spelt it out in no uncertain terms that indeed as far as aviation policy was concerned the EU was isolated.
            Climate news this past month has seen the release of another 5000 e-mails in connection with the Climategate affair at the University of East Anglia. He also mentioned that there are over three million volcanoes and mounds on the ocean floors which all give out huge quantities of carbon dioxide into the oceans all completely ignored by the IPCC. He said that there is no geophysical evidence that CO2 is changing the climate. He also mentioned the sun and its declining magnetic field leading to more cosmic rays entering the earth atmosphere to form clouds which in turn changes the climate. Arctic was ice free in the Holocene, and guess what! The polar bears survived!

           The Norwegian Geological Survey in a press statement of 20 October 2008 said there was "less ice in the Arctic Ocean 6000-7000 years ago".  The Norwegian research team of Dr Astrid Lysa and Dr Elliv Larsen in a study of beach ridges on the northern shore of Greenland found important evidence which showed that the Arctic was ice free during the first Holocene warming!  "the climate in the northern regions has never been milder since the last ice age than it was about 6000-7000 years ago" said Dr Astrid Lysa.   Professor Ian Plimer Professor of Geology at the University of Adelaide in his classic book "Heaven and Earth" also notes that the first global warming during the Holocene ,between 9000 and 65000 BC was the warmest the earth has been since the end of the last big ice age.   Did the polar bears starve and disappear?   Of course not!   If they had then there would be no polar bears today as they are not migratory!  Instead  a report in the International Business Times of 2 August 2011 noted that the number of polar bears is at an historic high!  

British industries deserting Britain due to climate taxes.

                 British industries are starting to leave Britain because of the green climate taxes imposed by Cameron`s government. A recent report on the GWPF web site reveals Rio Tinto Alcan is closing its Northumberland aluminium smelting plant in north-east England, a direct result of EU climate legislation.  This is devastating for an area that is already suffering high unemployment. In 1913 it would have faced a massive tax of about £56 million to enable it to comply with EU and UK carbon legislation.The huge chemical industry contributes a massive £30 million a day to the UK economy.  New green legislation is starting to force closures and an exodus to foreign countries. The GWPF report cites the chief executive of the Chemical Industries Association who told the BBC News that he feared that more British job losses were imminent!   He said that the direction of travel will be out of the UK!  In the English Midlands an area famous for its pottery factory after factory has had to close because of ant carbon taxes. The Steel giant Tata which employs over 21 000 people has warned the British government that its planned investment programme of over £1.2 billion will be put at risk because of green policies.
          The truth is that the Cameron Clegg government green policies are destroying industry in the UK.  The day must surely come when these people are chased from office.  Listen to what Professor John Christy former lead author of the discredited IPCC  now said to the Chris Smith Australian Chat Show earlier this year.  He said "a carbon tax will not lower the earth temperature. It is impossible for humans to change the climate"

US SENATOR INHOFE CALLS FOR INVESTIGATION INTO HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS SANCTIONED BY UN CLIMATE POLICIES

               US senator James Inhofe leading member of the US Senate Committee on the Environment has called for an investigation into human rights violations alledgedly sanctioned by the UN climate policies. (Reports by Paul J Watson on Alex Jones`s web site PrisonPlanet.com  23 September 2011, also reported in the New York Times and in the UK Guardian).  Over 20 000 Ugandan farmers have been brutally kicked off their lands, houses burned down with at least one child being burnt to death, Ugandans attacked while at church services.   Also in another climate land grab in Hondurus 23 farmers are reported to have been murdered! Senator Inhofe in a letter to secretary of State Hiliary Clinton has asked her to conduct an investigation into these shocking violations alledgedly sanctioned by the UN Framework Convention on climate change (UNFCCC) in its efforts to promote offsets for so called greenhouse gas emissions.  Senator Inhofe says if these reported violations are not addressed he will offer an amendment that will cut off all US funding to the UNFCCC.

German Professor calls Mann`s "hockey stick" graph a nasty fabrication!

                      German Professor Richard Dronskowski of Aachen University has slammed global warming science and has called Dr Michael Mann`s "hockey stick" graph on global temperature "a very nasty fabrication designed to spread fear".   Professor Dronskowski is both a physicist and a chemist.  He has a faculty position at the solid state and Quantum chemistry department at the RWTH Aachen and is the winner of the physics Otto Hahn award of the Max Planck Society.  He is a member of the German Physical Society and the American Chemical Society.

Polar bear numbers at record high! Report in International Business Times

                    The US Fish and Wildlife Service estimates that the polar bear population is currently about 20 000/25 000 which is up from 5000/6000 in the 1950`s and 1960`s.  A 2002 US Geological Survey of wildlife in the Arctic Refuge Coastal Plain noted that the polar bear population may be near an historic high!. Earliest snowfalls in the US since the end of the Civil War!

                  Single day snow fall records in October were all broken over Halloween in the US with 20 cities from Maryland to Maine recording huge snowfalls. The snow just keeps coming with over two feet of snow in parts of Massachusetts!  On California`s Mammoth Mountain the snow measured an incredable 728percent above normal! In Washington  Crystal Mountain broke its all time snowfall record.  In early June Utah`s Snowbird ski resort reported snow at 525 percent above normal. Glaciers are growing in the US. In Montana`s Glacier National park glaciers are gaining volume.  Glaciers are growing in California, Alaska and Washington state. Japanese IBUKU satellite data shows least carbon emissions come from US and Europe!

               Japanese TV station NHK World broke this story online on 30 October.  New data from the IBUKU (GOSAT) satellite of the JAXA Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency shows that the areas of highest CO2 emissions are those areas with most vegetation  and least industry such as Equatorial Third World countries. EU carbon trading scheme pays for murder of 23 farmers in Honduras

                 this is the shocking heading on the Lubos Motl blog.   Motl a physicist from the Czech Republic reveals another shocking story about violence and murder involving the climate alarmists. Farmers in northern Honduras have had their land stolen by the agricultural corporations who are converting their arable land to palm oil plantations.This is to to produce biodiesel  biofuels. The land conversion was permitted by the Honduras government. For these changes the agricultural corporations  are paid huge amounts of money by the European carbon crooks. Green Terror and Murder in Uganda

                    armed troops burn down homes, kill children to evict Ugandans all in the name of global warming.   this was the shocking heading on Alec Jones internet site PlanetPrison.com on 23 September. Alec Jones television channel is a major news channel in the US.  Reporter Paul J Watson relates the story(also reported in the New York Times and the UK Guardian) of how climate alarmists launched terror and bloodshed in Uganda against defenceless villagers, some of whom were in church at the time. The troops were reported to be acting on behalf of a British carbon trading company backed by the World Bank.  the report goes on to relate they burned down houses and killed children to evict Ugandans in the name of seizing land to protect against "global warming". the evictions were ordered by the New Forests Company which seizes land in Africa to grow trees then sells the "carbon credits" on to transnational corporations.  the company is backed by the World Bank and by the HSBC bank. Its board of Directors includes the managing director of HSBC and other former Goldman Sachs investment bankers.  Villagers told how armed "security" forces torched their houses, burning an eight year old child to death as they threatened to murder anyone who resisted.
  An Oxfam report documents how this British company has worked with the Ugandan government to forcibly expel over 20 000 people from their homes using terror and violence as part of a lucrative scramble for arable land that can be used to satisfy the multi billion dollar carbon trading ponzi scheme. The manufactured  threat of man made global warming is being used as a tool to seize land, thereby preventing poor nations from using their own resources to develop and also literally starving poverty stricken people to death.  The Obama administration supports this policy of keeping such countries underdeveloped.  Little wonder that the Washington Times called recently for his immediate impeachment.

Times Atlas publishes false information on Greenland. Cambrige Polar Institute

         The latest edition of the famous Times Atlas has been ridiculed by the Scott Polar Institute at Cambridge University for publishing wrong information about Greenland. The Scott Polar Institute has among its staff the renowned glaciologist Professor Julian Dowdeswell.   The Times Atlas latest edition has made 15 percent of Greenland green and ice free as a result of so called global warming.  This claim has been disputed by the Scott Polar Institute as "ludicrous".  Professor Liz Morris said "a serious error had been made".   In the 12 year period concerned less than one percent of the ice had actually melted.   The Arctic region is at present rapidly re-freezing again with recently a new area the size of Manhatten being added every two minutes. Nature Journal of Science publishes report rejecting man made climate change

               Nature Journal of Science the worlds most cited scientific periodical has just published the definitive study on global warming that proves the dominant controller of temperature in the earth`s atmosphere is due to galactic cosmic rays and the sun rather than  man.  One of the reports authors Professor Jyrki Kauppinen, summed up his conclusions regarding the potential for man made global warming "I think it is such a blatant falsification".    The study was conducted by CERN, the energy organisation for nuclear research, which invented the world wide web and built the multi billion dollar Large Hadron Collider.            For Nature to publish research that eviscerates the man made climate theory heralds a massive rejection by academia of support for the UN Framework Convention on climate change.   After hundreds of billions of taxpayers dollars of costs the man made global warming theory is headed for the dustbin of history.   However it remains to be seen what more damage to the western economies the politicians will do with their crazy policies-policies that are destroying both the United States and the UK. Dr H Abdussamatov Director of Pulkovo Observatory St Petersburg in his classic paper "The sun dictates the Climate" gives irrefutable proof that climate change is natural."The sun dictates the Climate"

             Dr Habibullo Abdussamatov of the Pulkovo Observatory in St Petersburg, and also the Director of the Russian segment of the International Space Station in his classic paper "The sun dictates the climate" delivered at the 4th Heartland Institute International Conference on Climate produces clear evidence that as far as the sun is concerned there are two Total Solar Irradiance(TSI) cycles the 11 year cycle and the two century cycle. However it is the two century grand solar cycle that plays a dominating role in the solar physics of the sun. This enables one using the data from sunspot activity to show the course of the TSI during the past and predict future climate variation. Using this data and the two century cyclic variation of the TSI   Abdussamatov shows that the earth is heading for a cooling similar to the Maunder Minimum of 1645-1715 when global temperatures fell by 1.5 celsius. He predicts that this deep cooling will last right to the end of the 21st century with warming only starting again well into the 22nd century.  So we should prepare for the effects of deep cooling which will be much more devastating than a global warming.

Washington Times Prints call to Impeach Obama!

New Nasa Data Blows a Gaping Hole in Global Warming Alarmism

        A new NASA climate paper published in Remote Sensing Journal reveals that from 2000 to 2011the earth`s atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted.  The study  by Dr Roy Spencer principal research scientist at the University of Alabama Huntsville and US Science Team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning radiometer flying on the NASA Aqua satellite, and by Dr D Braswell and shows far less future global warming will occur than UN computer models have predicted.  The paper supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.. The new NASA Terra satellite data are consistent with long term NOAA and NASA data indicating atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds are not increasing in the manner predicted by alarmist computer models.  The Terra satellite data also support data collected by NASA`s  ERBS satellite showing far more long wave radiation(and thus heat) escaped into space between 1985 and 1999 than alarmist computer models had predicted.  When objective NASA satellite data, reported in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, show a huge discrepancy between alarmist climate models and real world facts, climate scientists, the media and our elected officials would be wise to take notice. Whether or not they do so will tell us a great deal about how honest the purveyors of global warming alarmism truly are.

New Greenland research paper demolishes the IPCC "tipping point" outcome

                 The IPCC and its climategate scientists have predicted CO2 caused global warming for decades
which could cause the Greenland area to warm leading to a gigantic ice melt and flooding coastal regions round the globe.   N Daniault et al in Geophysical Letters 2011 studied the East Greenland-Irminger current (EGIC) which flows southwestward along the eastern coast of Greenland.  It is important because variability in the EGIC likely influences convection in the Labrador and Irminger seas.  They found that the EGIC transport was close to average from 1992- 1996, decreased 1997-2005 and has increased since 2006.  Beyond this decadal variability the researchers found no significant trend in the 1992-2009 EGIC transport time series, confirming that EGIC transport variability has not changed significantly over the past two decades.  (see  N Daniault,  H Mercier,  P Lherminier 2011 Geophysical research letters).

     Gullible reporters and left leaning politicians have gleefully relied on the exaggerated climate model predictions in an attempt to lend credence to their claims of accelerating sea level rises.  The climate models projected that human CO2 increases would cause a definitive ice sheet melt with rising sea levels.  However two NASA scientists reported in the AAAS Science Journal and have found that data from the East Antarctica ice sheet showed that previous ice sheet loss estimates were significantly higher than reality.

UN Green Fascists propose a UN Green Police!!

       The Guardian newspaper reports that the UN security council have proposed the setting up of a green police "security" force!   Fresh from last years December Cancun climate talks in Mexico during which global warming alarmists demanded that developed nations such as the US hand over $100 billion to nations such as Iran,  North Korea and Venezuela, global warming activists see the green police as another means to exert pressure on industralised western democracies.  US carbon dioxide emissions have declined during the last decade, as have emissions from western democracies as a whole.  China which has been exempt from global agreements to reduce carbon dioxide emissions is responsible for 75% of the growth in global CO2 emissions during the last decade.  Guardian Report.      The real plan is of course exactly what the IPCC official Ottmar Edenhoffer said just prior to the start of the Cancun conference "one must clearly say that we re-distribute the defacto the world`s wealth by climate policy" and as the Bolivian President Eva Morales also said " the principle objective of the conference would be to save the planet from capitalism"     So there it is:
the destruction of the Western democracies of the US and the UK.   Not as much as a squeak from Cameron or Obama!        

         Note:   just one small problem in this plan.  While carbon dioxide emissions have been rising globally recent temperature from the AMSRE satellite(see Dr Roy Spencer Nasa lead scientist) shows that global sea surface temperatures are rapidly declining and the latest Hadley Centre graphic also shows a cooling earth over the last decade. Climategate Spin Doctor Arrested

                         ClimateAudit.org(14 July) and the Global Warming Policy Foundation(GWPF) both report the arrest of Neil Wallis the managing director of Outside Organisation the company hired by the University of East Anglia to carry out "covert" operations regarding climategate.  Neil Wallis former deputy editor of the News of the World and managing director of Outside Organisation was also a paid adviser to the Met police commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson and the Met police assistant commissioner John Yates.  The thread on Dr Steve McIntyre`s site makes interesting reading.

German eco fascist climate WBGU report, and 4 billion population reduction. Are they linked? read new report

              Helga Zepp-Larouche,chairwoman of the German Civil Rights movement Solidarity has highlighted the report by the German Advisory Council to the Federal government on Global Environment Change(WBGU) which was released on 7 April and which proposes the complete decarbonisation of the world energy economy, the complete elimination of all fossil fuels (oil, coal and gas) by 2050 and the immediate renunciation of nuclear fission and further research on nuclear fusion. The haste with which Chancellor Merkel has now agreed to the total phasing out of nuclear power shows the report has found favour.
           It will mean the complete end of Germany as an industrial power.The proposed decarbonisation of the German economy will quickly displace German energy intensive industries and so break the backbone of the German economy. This policy says Mrs Zepp-Larouche is a policy which she says demonstrably "comes directly from Queen Elizabeth  and her population reduction loving consort Prince Philip".The global social contract proposed by the WBGU means nothing else but an imperial, democracy ending, global eco fascism, based on a view of humanity filled with contempt and hatred for man.
           Mrs Zepp-Larouche poses the question as to who benefits from a green world dictatorship today? Not the British people, not the British nation but the British Empire ie the system of globalisation with its networks of central banks, hedge funds etc which over 20 years has achieved the full deregulation of the financial system. The HQ not by chance being in the City of London.  She says a new bubble is needed   and what better than the sale of CO2 indulgences especially if you have shut down the competition, nuclear and fossil fuel plants!  On a world scale the low energy flux density of  renewable energies corresponds to a maximum world population of 1 to 2 billion people!!  For developing nations this means a massive population reduction.(genocide?).  A reduced world population may please Prince Philip who has been reported as saying he would like to be reborn as a virus.  Mrs Zepp-Larouche also records the mistaken  intervention by the Queen in 2004 when in November 2004 at the British Embassy in Berlin she made Dr H J Schellnhuber the director of the WBGU a CBE of the British Empire. This represents says Mrs ZL a geostrategic grip by the British Empire(the banks) on Germany as an industrial nation. She cites an Observer newspaper report of 31 October 2004 as reporting a rare intervention in world politics by the Queen which she says reported that the Queen asked Blair to persuade George W Bush to accept antropogenic global warming(AGW). A non existent phenomena!
             The German Civil Rights Movement has drafted a petition which  should be signed by every scientist and all those who love democracy.  It is the start of German resistance against the eco fascist green policies of the WBGU. President of the Czech Republic says Global Warming Doctrine is not Science

        Vaclav Klaus the President of the Czech Republic speaking at the climate conference at Cambridge Uni versity on 10 May this year said that the Global Warming Doctrine (GWD) is not a science but an ideology if not a religion.  He said that economists do not believe in the precautionary principle.  They know that energy demand and supply patterns change only slowly and they see the very high degree of stability in the relationship between man made carbon dioxide emissions, economic activity and emissions intensity. He says that they do not expect a radical shift in this relationship.  Continuing he said that if some-one wants to reduce CO2 emissions, he must either expect a revolution in economic efficiency(which determines emissions intensity) or must start organising a world wide economic decline. Revolutions in economic efficiency were never realised in the past and will not happen in the future.  It was the recent economic and financial crisis, not a technological miracle, that brought about a slight reduction in CO2 emissions.  He said that the GWD adherents should explain to the people worldwide that they consider economic decline inevitable and desirable. The arrogance with which the GWD proponents and their fellow travellers in the media and politics want to suppress the market, control society, dictate prices(directly or indirectly by means of various interventions, including taxes) is something that he knows from the past (referring to the past central doctrine of communist rule under which he lived).  He said that all the economic arguments against communism should be repeated now. Global Warming Fraud Creates Third World Food Crisis. New Report

                        Leading US lawyer John O`Sullivan in a guest post on climaterealists.com reveals the shocking details of the green movement use of grain to produce ethanol.  Due to the flagrant use of 6.5percent of the world`s grain for ethanol, third world hunger is exploding into mass starvation. The grain which should be going to feed the world`s hungry instead is going to produce 85 billion litres of ethanol annually. The governments have signed up to the idea that biofuels are going to be the greener source for mankind`s energy needs. As a result while the wealthier portion of the world`s population ends up paying a lot more for food, those in underdeveloped countries starve. O`Sullivan notes that in the US a staggering 39.8 percent of the world`s ethanol is created from US crops that should instead  be used as food.  Europe alone will see 5.4 billion litres of ethanol used this year, a 15 percent increase over 2010. He goes on to note that the Koyoto Protocol was the trigger for mass starvation!  In a telling description he says a death sentence is being issued on millions more in the future. Professor John Christy, a former IPCC lead author attacks climate alarmism

     Professor John Christy a former lead author of the IPCC in an interview on the Australian Chris Smith Chat Show says that a carbon tax will not lower the earth temperature!  He went on to say that the present rate of temperature change is less than one degree/century. In other words insignificant! This agrees with the SPPI global temperature index temperature trend based on real satellite(the most accurate)temperature measurements. Christy says it is impossible for humans to change the climate!  He said that even if a thousand new nuclear plants were built the climate change would be less than a tenth of one degree after a hundred years!

The False Promise of Green Energy. New book from the Cato Institute.

       Authors Andrew P Morris  Professor of Business at the University of Alabama and his fellow authors William T Bogart  President of Maryville College, Roger E Meiners  Professor of Economics University of Texas and Andrew Dorchak  head of reference at the Case Western University School of Law have produced this excellent new book on the green movement.  It examines the claims green energy proponents make  that we can improve the economy and the environment by spending hundreds of billions of taxpayers money in return for false or highly speculative promises. The introduction notes that the ultimate agenda of the green movement is far larger and more insidious than acknowledged.  It illustrates the irresponsibility of attempting to transform modern society with borrowed money, wishful thinking and bad economics.  A bit like the sub prime mortage disaster from which we are only just beginning to recover, with every liklihood of a similar green disaster in the future. Green policies and industrial decline. EU energy commissioner attacks politicians

                Just as the EU Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger has attacked the German government because of high taxes and green levies on energy the UK is also faced with the same strategy from the Cameron government.  Herr Oettinger warned Germany about industrial decline because of  eco  subsidies from taxpayers. As far as we in the UK are concerned consumers will face big rises in utilities bills as a result of the
chancellor Mr Osborne`s unfair taxes on energy companies. The UK will be the first country in the world to introduce such draconian unnecessary measures as a carbon tax on energy companies which will put British companies at an unfair disadvantage compared to their competitors in other countries.  No such measures for China or India or Russia or even the US!   UK consumer groups say that these taxes will inevitably be passed on to consumers with big increases in consumer electricity bills. The Times(26 March) quotes Ann Robinson director of consumer policy at the comparison website uSwitch.com as saying "what is clear is that consumers are paying the price for a disjointed and incoherent energy policy which is allowing stealth taxes and expensive extras to sneak into our energy bills. This investment(green) is beginning to look like a runaway train that will start to make energy increasingly unaffordable in this country"   What a shocking indictment of government green energy policy. It is clear that consumers and not the energy companies will bear the cost of this mad policy.A policy that Lord Lawson has correctly referred to as an anti growth policy.

We have all heard a lot of talk about carbon capture and storage CCS.  Those who worry about our carbon dioxide emissions to atmosphere see it as the answer to continued use of fossil fuels while we are waiting for renewable technologies to take over. However there are some snags that we need to consider. The first one is that of legality. As far as I am aware if we are talking off shore injection into strata then at the moment this is only permitted as part of an enhanced oil recovery project EOR.   Otherwise it requires international agreements which despite the longevity of the idea are not in place. Can anyone help and say whether they are even on the horizon? The second issue concerns insurance. Put bluntly in circumstances of a failure in the storage system and a large leakage of carbon dioxide the question is: Who pays in the event of deaths and other consequences? To these I now have to add another question for which I am grateful to Chris Booker, the journalist. That question is at the kind of injection rates required will the notion work or will it result in such fracturing that it will not? Now admittedly Chris is not a physicist or indeed a scientist but he has many connections with the scientific community.  I do not know his source. The last time I studied micromeretics is probably around 40 years ago and so I have to pass that question over probably to those involved in EOR. Can anyone help?

The questions that you pose in your wind generator example require the consideration of economics, energy balance and environmental impacts. My simplistic view having only considered the subject for circa 10 years is that neither onshore nor offshore wind installations currently make economic sense except to those who can profit from heavy subsidies of one kind or another available ultimately from the comsumer (via government and the electricity companies). I have over the years (more than 10) argued on and off with Don Swift-Hook on the topic particularly about high pressure zones in winter.
I was less inclined to consider the overall energy balance for a different set of reasons that would require rather more space than appropriate here. Until recently I was somewhat naive over the (as I have now realised many) adverse environmental impacts. However as a consequence of conversations with Peter Taylor (ex chief scientific adviser to Greenpeace) and exposure to John Etherington’s views (ex Reader in Ecology at University of Wales) I have concluded that windfarms are not harmless.  As an AGW sceptic  I am not concerned about claims of savings in carbon dioxide emissions but in any case these are probably false because of low availability and the need for fiossil fuel back-up. Whilst the title of John’s book is rather emotionally evocative its contents tends to justify “The Wind Farm Scam An Ecologists Evaluation”, Stacey International 2009 ISBN: 978 1905299 83 6. If you read it you like myself will probably find it an eye opener.

Helmut Schmidt former German Chancellor attacks the IPCC in Berlin speech

   Former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt in a speech in Berlin on 11 January to the Max Planck Gesellschaft, Germany`s most prestigious science organisation  has cast serious doubts on the integrity and credibility of the IPCC.  He has called for an independent scientific investigation into what he calls their questionable practises. A report from the GWPF web site climate record on 6 March quotes him as saying "some of their researchers have shown themselves to be fraudsters"

Green Tyranny Arrives in Germany and Britain. Abolition of the Free Market.

         NoTricksZone.com is a free commentary on climate science and policy by P Gosselin.  It has recently revealed that a new law has been quietly passed by the German government on 4 November 2010 with not a comment in the press.  It is called the law on energy services and other energy efficiency measures.  In effect the German state will be able to tell its citizens how much energy they may consume, in effect restricting economic growth!  Michael Limburg of EIKE (European Institute for Climate and Energy) writes " with this law the free market is going to be abolished",  power and energy companies will be required to collect consumption data on every citizen.   Limburgh says  " citizens  can be forced to make comprehensive energy sayings in a very short time".  Gosselin relates there is no opposition in Germany to this coming green tyranny.   Before the second world war over seventy percent of the greens joined the Nazi party, now today the green socialist experiment is alive and well again in Germany. But where will it end? water consumption?  internet access? Our mobility?  Our lights?   Our weight?  Our property? Our freedom of speech?  Be prepared, keep reading my blog!
      So while energy rationing is coming to Germany and with it the end of economic growth and the free market, Britain also faces much of the same. On 4 March listeners to BBC Radio 4 Today programme will have heard Mr Steve Holliday the CEO of National Grid pontificate on the future availability or rather the lack of a constant supply of electricity. "we want it to be there when we need it----- we are going to change our behaviour and consume it when it is available".  Thus users are expected to change their habits to conform to the variability of wind power! Like it or not by order!  A bit like the old communist Russia!  Bang goes economic growth for UK industry.  Bang goes your domestic freezer contents into the bin!
          ( Carbon dioxide as a result of human activity does not cause climate change, which is the view of tens of thousands of scientists world wide ( see www.petitionproject.org) but for those alarmists who still peddle the human climate scare take note that research(www.masterresource.org) by leading Canadian electrical engineer Kent Hawkins on power plants in the Netherlands, Colorado and in Texas confirms that when the wind capacity reaches five percent of the total electrical capacity then carbon dioxide emissions INCREASE.  The emissions are harmless but nevertheless with wind power they INCREASE, the exact opposite to what is being peddled by the climate alarmists. Also whether you like it or not dear reader the annual Energy Statement by the Cameron led government for 2010 states that by 2020 one third of the average electricity bill will consist of green energy charges imposed by law if you please!    So much for British democracy! )

Second NASA global warming satellite explodes! Mystery deepens!

          American  lawyer John O`Sullivan reports on the mysterious explosion of a second NASA global warming satellite. This a crucial global warming measuring satellite which was to measure how small airborne particles in the atmosphere affect the earth`s climate. It exploded shortly after take off from the Vandenburg Air Force Base in California.   The onboard orbiting carbon observatory (OCO) was designed to be instrumental in finally settling the global warming debate. The satellite would have been able to show exactly how much energy is falling from the sun to earth. Scientists could have precisely calculated how much if at all, human emissions of carbon dioxide were altering the climate and may have given final proof that man made global warming was a hoax. The first OCO also exploded in 2009 in similar strange circumstances!  Two explosions in less than two years!     (see johnosullivan.livejournal.com)

Green politics takes a hit. Opinion Surveys

    In the general election in the Irish Republic all six Green party members of the Dail lost their seats.  Previously the President of the Irish Farmers Union John Bryan had said that the policies of the Green Party on agriculture would derail the Republic`s economic recovery by imposing unrealistic restrictions that would destroy the potential of the  agri food sector to deliver exports and jobs.

    A Scientific American survey involving interviewing thousands has found that 77 percent of those interviewed said that climate change is a natural phenomenon, while a staggering 83 percent said that the IPCC was corrupt.
(UK government take note!).

   The Public Service Broadcasting Trust commissioned a survey on global warming among young people in UK
towards the end of 2010. The survey involved over 3000 young people and was conducted by ITV Fixers. The survey showed that climate change came last in the priorities of the young people. The survey showed they were more concerned about their financial futures..  It was one of the largest surveys of youth opinion ever conducted in the UK.

Green Sector costs more jobs than it creates-report by Verso Economics

               The Global Warming Policy Forum has publicised a report by Verso Economics which has found that 3.7jobs are lost for every green job created in the UK as a whole. The report said that the renewable industry in Scotland benefited from a massive annual £330million transfer in subsidies from the UK taxpayer. Richard Marsh research director of Verso Economics said the case for green jobs does not stack up. (reported from BBC News)

US House of Representatives votes 244-179 to stop US funding of the IPCC.

         Rick Piltz reporting in climatesciencewatch.org reports on 19 February 2011 the huge US Congress vote against  any further funding of the pro man made climate change Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC). Republican Blaine Luetkemeyer of Missouri led the onslaught when referring to the leaked climategate files from the climate research unit at the University of East Anglia  in November 2009.  He said "Scientists manipulated data,suppressed legitimate arguments in peer reviewed journals and researchers were asked to destroy e-mails,so that a small number of climate alarmists could continue to advance their environmental agenda"    Holding a recent 740 page report in his hand signed by 700 acclaimed international scientists which challenged the claims made by the IPCC and which he said represented some of the most respected institutions at home and abroad including the US Department of Energy and Defense, the US Army and Navy.  A vote of 244-179 is most decisive and illustrates the American public have had enough of the man made climate nonsense.

The BBC Pension Funds and biased(man made) climate reporting- the Link

     American lawyer John O`Sullivan reports on the link between the BBC Pension scheme and biased pro human warmist BBC reporting..He reports that the United Nations green machine via a consortium known as "UNEP F1" has been sucking up trillions of dollars of investments from pension funds around the world. The BBC pension fund is just one of 180 such funds invested in UNEP F1.  OSullivan reports that the head of the BBC Pension fund is none other than Peter Dunscombe who headed the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (tied with UNEP F1). O`Sullivan says that Dunscombe has breached the BBC charter which eschews both political and commercial influence and that his position is untenable. Pension funds of such tax payer funded institutions as the BBC are heavily invested in schemes reliant on belief in the man made global warming theory or hoax.   (Further information see John O`Sullivan 13 February 2010 johnosullivan.livejournal.com   `Follow the money` BBC exposed in biggest climate racket on planet`).    UKIP member of the European Parliament Godfrey Bloom says `the BBC has blocked skeptics of (man made)climate change for four years, it is biased reporting and it is censorship`   O`Sullivan says that Godfrey Bloom is now being entirely vindicated as we see that the BBC has been shamelessly plugging its own profiteering agenda. Scots wind turbine factory goes bust. Wind turbines silent as UK wind declines

   A Scottish wind turbine factory Skykon  in Campbeltown has gone into administration with the loss of over 100 jobs. Skykon is a Danish company making turbines. Looking at the UK overall, wind speeds have rapidly declined in the UK in 2010.  In fact 2010 was the least windy year since 1824 in the UK. As reported in the Sunday Telegraph ( 16 January )  Moodys the international credit rating agency has warned that low wind speeds are becoming a major issue with potential investors in wind technology. It is also reported in the Sunday Telegraph report that 2010 was the least windy year in Britain on record , the data used coming from Ofgem and the National Grid.  Wind speeds in northern Europe are controlled by the NAO(North Atlantic Oscillation).  The NAO has reached its lowest level since records began.   The Sunday Telegraph reports that Todd Crawford of Weather Services International a consultancy operated by the US Weather channel has confirmed that the NAO is at its lowest point on record.   Where does all this leave Mr Huhne the UK climate secretary who has just recently announced a £60 million subsidy from tax payers for the Thanet wind farm?  This at a time when electricity bills are escalating ,
university tuition fees have tripled and cuts in public services in the UK are increasing. If this wind programme in the UK is continued then large numbers of coal, gas and oil fired electricity plants will have to be built as back up otherwise there will be no electricity in Britain!   Germany has 20 000 wind turbines yet not one coal fired electricity plant has been de-commissoned as a result. The only people who are gaining out of this are the wind companies themselves.

New climate paper predicts that Global Warming by 2100 will be at most one eighth of that predicted by the IPCC .

  On Recovery from the Little Ice Age is the title of a new climate paper by Dr Syun-Ichi Akasofu of the International Arctic Research Centre at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in which the author predicts that multi decadal oscillations superimposed on the natural recovery from the Little Ice Age(which ended about 1850) will mean that by 2100 the temperature will be around 0.5C+/-0.2C higher than today.  This compares with the IPCC prediction of a temperature of 4.0C+/-0.2C a factor of eight higher than that predicted by Dr Akasofu.  Published in Natural Science December 2010 vol2,no11 (1211-1224), significantly he says that as much as 83 percent of the recovery from the LIA recorded in the last century is due to natural sources. While there is a linear temperature trend from 1880 to 2000 the peaks in 1940 and again in 2000 are due to multidecadal oscillations temporarily halting the recovery. In 1940 a cooling developed which lasted until 1977 when the earth experienced the great climate shift as the oscillations reversed into a warming mode which now into the 21st century has reversed again to a cooling mode into a possible mini ice age.
